Billings, MT (August 20, 2025) – A commercial truck driver is facing multiple charges in connection with a December 2024 crash that killed a respected Laurel man on Interstate 90.
According to reports, prosecutors say 39-year-old Sarbjeet Parmar of Buckley, Washington, was operating a commercial vehicle pulling a trailer when he lost control near mile marker 431 on December 22, 2024, around 4 p.m. The truck went into the median, rolled onto its side, and entered oncoming traffic. Parmar has been charged with negligent homicide and five counts of felony criminal endangerment. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bond with GPS monitoring.
