Webster, MN (May 25, 2025) – According to reports, a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred Sunday afternoon, May 25, in Rice County at the intersection of Highway 19 and Dent Avenue, approximately 17 miles northwest of Faribault.
Authorities say the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 2:45 p.m. Emergency personnel from Lonsdale Fire, Lonsdale Police, Northfield Ambulance, and North Memorial Aircare were dispatched to assist at the crash site.
Preliminary details indicate both vehicles were traveling east when the collision occurred. The motorcycle, operated by a 40-year-old man from Lonsdale, collided with a car driven by a 53-year-old Lonsdale man. They were the only occupants involved in the crash.
A medical helicopter was called to transport at least one of the injured parties. The full extent of injuries has not yet been released, and the State Patrol is expected to provide additional information soon.
