Detroit, MI. (November 9, 2025) – Three people were injured early Saturday morning following a wrong-way crash involving a Dodge Durango on Interstate 75 in Detroit, according to authorities.
According to the Michigan State Police, the crash occurred around 5 a.m. on November 8 near the Holbrook exit. Several witnesses reported seeing the Durango traveling southbound in the northbound lanes just prior to the collision.
Responding officers found two individuals—a 26-year-old driver and a 65-year-old passenger—trapped inside a Subaru. Both were extricated and rushed to the hospital for medical care. The 38-year-old driver of the Durango was also transported to the hospital after sustaining head injuries.
Police say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the crash. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
