Winchester, CA (November 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital Wednesday evening, November 19, following a collision at the intersection of Simpson Road and Winchester Road in Winchester.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:39 p.m. and involved a dark-gray Hyundai SUV and a second vehicle. One of the vehicles struck a power pole during the collision, causing it to collapse onto the roadway.
Emergency responders blocked both directions of Simpson Road as they worked to clear the scene and restore power infrastructure. One person involved in the crash reported pain and was transported to Inland Valley Hospital for further evaluation. The roadway was reopened just before 7:40 p.m.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the accident.
