Flagler County, FL (October 4, 2026) – One person was killed and three others suffered serious injuries Friday evening in a three-vehicle crash on State Road 100 in Flagler County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 7:18 p.m. on October 2 near West Black Point Road.
Troopers said two sedans and a pickup truck were involved. A sedan driven by a 28-year-old Bunnell man reportedly rear-ended the pickup truck while traveling on State Road 100. The impact forced the pickup off the roadway and into a tree line, where it overturned.
The first sedan then spun sideways into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a second sedan driven by a 34-year-old Ormond Beach woman. The first sedan subsequently overturned and came to rest in a ditch on the south side of the roadway. The second sedan came to a controlled stop on the road.
A passenger in the first sedan suffered fatal injuries. Troopers said the Florida man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. His age and identity were not included in the initial report.
The 28-year-old driver of the first sedan suffered serious injuries. The pickup’s two occupants, a 72-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman, were also seriously injured. The 34-year-old driver and her 35-year-old passenger in the second sedan were not injured.
