Westlake, TX (November 8, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed late Monday night in a deadly crash along State Highway 114 near Davis Boulevard, according to local authorities.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on November 3. A westbound vehicle on SH 114 struck a man who was walking across the highway under circumstances still being investigated.
The man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Officials confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. Preliminary findings indicate that neither drugs nor alcohol contributed to the crash.
