According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the 100 block of El Camino Real at approximately 10:40 a.m. on November 19. A 78-year-old woman had crashed into a building and was found with serious injuries.
She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not disclosed her identity as of this writing. Officials said the building involved was likely unoccupied at the time of the collision, and no other injuries were reported.
