Yonkers, NY (August 21, 2025) – A serious crash at a medical office in Yonkers left several people injured Wednesday morning when a car drove into the front of the facility, pinning the driver and damaging the building.
According to reports, the accident occurred just before 10 a.m. on August 20 at the Montefiore Medical Group location on Central Park Avenue. Authorities said an 84-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a car that plowed through the front doors of the medical office.
A glass door reportedly broke through the windshield, trapping the driver inside the vehicle. She was critically injured and rushed into emergency surgery. Two others in the car and three employees inside the office were also hurt in the crash.
