RANDOLPH, VT (January 8, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle collision on Route 66 Monday morning has claimed the life of a Randolph resident and left another seriously injured, according to the Vermont State Police.
Donald Price, 65, was driving eastbound on the highway when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a car traveling in the opposite direction. Authorities confirmed that Price was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Cynthia Brown, 67, also of Randolph, was the driver of the other vehicle. She sustained serious injuries in the collision and was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.
