Glendale, AZ (January 10, 2025) – A serious car accident at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Camelback Road critically injured a child on Thursday afternoon, as reported by the Glendale Police Department.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. when a westbound vehicle collided with a second vehicle making a left turn at the intersection.
The impact reportedly ejected a child passenger from the second vehicle. The child was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Another child in the same vehicle was also transported to the hospital as a precaution but is believed to have escaped serious harm.
Police confirmed that the westbound vehicle had a green light at the time of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
