Tarrant County, TX (September 13, 2025) A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal Labor Day crash that claimed four lives and injured others on Farm-to-Market Road 1187 near Ben Day Murrin Road, close to Benbrook and Cresson.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the deadly collision occurred around 8:20 p.m. on September 1 and involved four vehicles. Authorities say Orbin Edgardo Zelaya Aguilar was behind the wheel and has now been charged with four counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault causing serious bodily injury. He was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Wednesday.
Irma Garcia Vasquez, 34, and her baby daughter were pronounced dead at the scene. Francisco Chavez Garcia, 24, also died at the site of the crash. Marisol Villalobos, 52, a mother of three who had been returning home after visiting her daughter at college, was transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest, where she was later pronounced deceased.
