According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the tragic collision occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on September 22 near mile marker 55 on Interstate 35. A white Ford pickup truck traveling northbound reportedly rear-ended a tractor-trailer under unknown circumstances.
