Hanover, VA (September 24, 2025) – An investigation is underway following a deadly single-vehicle crash that erupted into flames after gunfire was reported on Interstate 295 in Hanover County.
According to the Virginia State Police, the incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, in the southbound lanes near Exit 38 at Pole Green Road. Authorities say a 2011 white Ford F-250 truck was traveling southbound when it veered off the roadway, crashed, and caught fire.
