Oakdale, CA (October 2, 2025) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night along a rural roadway just outside Oakdale.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened around 8:49 p.m. on September 27, along Albers Road, just south of Valk Road. Authorities say Enrique Valadez, 30, of Oakdale, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup southbound when he attempted a left turn and collided with a northbound Volvo Tractor Trailer.
The force of the impact caused the semi-truck to veer left, where it struck a southbound Honda Accord. Tragically, Valadez died at the scene. The other drivers suffered minor or no injuries.
CHP officials stated that alcohol may have been a contributing factor, though a full investigation is still underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
