Marion County, OR. (October 2, 2025) – A man from Albany was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Sunday evening in Marion County. The incident took place around 6:58 p.m. on September 28 on Interstate 5 near milepost 270.
According to the Oregon State Police, 49-year-old Antonio Del-Valle Pegueros was driving a Nissan Sentra southbound on I-5 when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle veered off the roadway. The car rolled several times along the southbound shoulder before coming to rest.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and pronounced Pegueros dead. No other vehicles were involved, and authorities have not yet determined what caused the driver to lose control.
