Duanesburg, NY (October 4, 2025) – One woman is dead and multiple others were injured after a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in the town of Duanesburg, New York.

According to the New York State Police, the accident occurred around 11:39 a.m. on October 2 at the intersection of McGuire School Road and State Route 20. A 2007 BMW sedan driven by a 17-year-old failed to stop at a stop sign before turning onto Route 20, where it collided with a westbound 2014 Dodge Caravan.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as 63-year-old Barbara A. Bryant of Schenevus, was transported to Ellis Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Her passenger, Robert Gaudino, 36, of Burlington Flats, was taken to Albany Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

The BMW driver, along with 16-year-old passenger Kodah Schepisi of Albany, and a dog, were also transported to Albany Medical Center. Both occupants are listed in stable condition. One of the teens reportedly suffered an eye injury expected to result in permanent vision loss.

The teen driver was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. The crash remains under investigation.
