Odessa, TX (February 5, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old William Thomson and left two drivers injured on Monday evening.
According to the Odessa Police Department (OPD), the deadly collision occurred at approximately 6:22 p.m. on February 3 at the intersection of Faudree and Eastridge Roads.
Reports indicate that 33-year-old Brittany Redmon was driving a black Ford F-250 southbound on Faudree, while 29-year-old Trintin Conner was operating a blue Hyundai Sonata northbound on the same road. OPD stated that Conner attempted to turn west onto Eastridge but failed to yield the right of way, resulting in the Sonata being struck by the oncoming pickup truck.
William Thomson, a front-seat passenger in the Sonata, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Medical Center Hospital, where he later died. Both Redmon and Conner were also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
