Moore County, TX (September 20, 2026) – Brenda Guadalupe Galaviz, 40, of Amarillo, died and another driver was injured following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 87 in Moore County on Thursday, September 17.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Galaviz was traveling west through a construction zone in a Chevrolet Traverse when the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Silverado.
Galaviz suffered serious injuries and was transported to Moore County Hospital, where she later died.
