San Angelo, TX (October 16, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision in San Angelo sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday, following a crash at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Hatcher Street.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident took place on October 15 when a black Honda traveling westbound on Chestnut Street was struck by a red Ford Fusion headed northbound on Hatcher Street. Authorities reported that the Ford Fusion failed to yield the right of way, resulting in the crash.
The driver of the Honda was transported to Shannon Medical Center with back pain. Their current condition has not been disclosed. The driver of the Ford Fusion was issued a warning at the scene.
Significant vehicle damage was reported, and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
