El Mirage, CA (March 17, 2025) – Alicia Arceo Carrillo, 64, of Adelanto, was fatally struck by a vehicle in El Mirage on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred at approximately 6:53 p.m. on Oasis Road, just south of Bella Vista Road. Authorities reported that Carrillo was walking eastbound in the desert when she was hit by a westbound 2009 Ford F-150.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but Carrillo succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Ford remained at the location and cooperated with investigators. CHP has not released further details as the investigation remains ongoing.
