According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred at approximately 6:51 a.m. on November 6 at the intersection of 42nd Street and Ranchland Avenue. A gray Jeep Compass traveling eastbound struck a 78-year-old woman who was attempting to cross the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported the pedestrian to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries. Her current condition remains unknown.
