ARLINGTON, TX (November 19, 2025) – A tragic early morning crash in Arlington claimed the life of 32-year-old Walton Yohelis Rios-Vallejos and left three others injured, authorities confirmed.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the intersection of South Cooper Street and Pioneer Parkway. Rios-Vallejos was behind the wheel of a 2008 Honda Civic traveling westbound on Pioneer Parkway when it reportedly ran a red light and collided with a northbound 2012 Ford Explorer.
Rios-Vallejos was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver and two passengers in the Explorer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also taken to the hospital.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash and have not yet determined whether speed or intoxication played a role.
