Fabens, TX (December 12, 2025) – A 54-year-old woman was killed and two others were hospitalized following a head-on, multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Fabens, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash scene shortly before 5:30 a.m. on December 10 on the 17000 block of Alameda Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a serious three-vehicle crash that left multiple people injured and one woman deceased at the scene.
Authorities say a red Chevrolet Silverado and an SUV were traveling westbound on Alameda when the SUV attempted to pass the Silverado. The SUV collided head-on with an eastbound gray pickup truck. Moments later, the Silverado struck the SUV from behind.
The driver of the SUV, identified as 54-year-old Maria De Cisneros Romo of Tornillo, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Silverado and the gray pickup were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
