Caledonia, WI (December 25, 2025) – A tragic crash late Tuesday night in Caledonia claimed the life of a 31-year-old man following a collision with a semi-truck on Northwestern Avenue.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. on December 23 near Carol Road, just west of Interstate 94. Preliminary findings from the Village of Caledonia Police Department indicate that the victim, a Racine resident, was traveling westbound on Northwestern Avenue when his vehicle collided with the back of a semi cab that was moving slowly without a trailer.
The 41-year-old semi-truck driver, from Illinois, remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
