Adams County, PA (January 19, 2026) – A 31-year-old man lost his life and another driver was injured following a head-on collision Friday night in Union Township, Adams County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 11:47 p.m. on January 16 in the 300 block of Basehoar School Road. Troopers say the man, driving a Honda CRV, attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone when he collided head-on with an oncoming car.

Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene at approximately 12:15 a.m. His identity has not been publicly released, but next of kin have been notified. His body was transported to a local funeral home.

The other driver, a woman, was injured and taken to York Hospital. Her condition remains unknown.
