According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred around 7:41 a.m. on January 22 near Little Willeo Road and the entrance to the Woodlawn Point Shopping Center. Police say a gray 2022 Chrysler Pacifica was turning left from the southbound lanes onto 1000 Johnson Ferry Road when it struck a northbound gray 2015 Yamaha FZ09 motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and transported for emergency care. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured. Cobb County Police remained at the scene for an extended investigation and are asking witnesses to contact them with any information related to the incident.
