Union Township, New Jersey (June 29, 2026) – A wrong-way crash involving multiple vehicles claimed the life of a 66-year-old woman Friday after a driver fleeing several earlier collisions crashed head-on into her vehicle in Union Township. The fatal accident occurred on June 26 along Morris Avenue near Colonial Avenue.
According to the New Jersey State Police, investigators said a 71-year-old Union resident was driving a Dodge Charger when he allegedly struck multiple vehicles between the Lowe’s shopping center and a BP gas station on Morris Avenue before continuing the wrong way at a high rate of speed.
