Boone County, MO (July 5, 2026) – A rollover crash on U.S. Highway 63 in Boone County left one driver injured Thursday afternoon after a rear end collision involving two northbound vehicles. The accident occurred at approximately 5:38 p.m. on July 2 along northbound U.S. Highway 63, south of Missouri Highway 22.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash involved a 1996 Ford Ranger and a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. Investigators reported that the Ford Ranger struck the rear of the Chrysler before leaving the roadway and overturning. The Ranger sustained total damage and was secured at the scene, while the Chrysler sustained extensive damage but was driven from the scene.
The 22-year-old driver of the Ford Ranger, from Clark, Missouri, suffered minor injuries and was transported by Boone Ambulance to University Hospital for treatment. The 39-year-old driver of the Chrysler Town and Country, from Moberly, Missouri, was wearing a safety restraint and was not reported injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Sergeant G.T. Pemberton and Trooper D.L. Holliday as the investigation and roadway cleanup were completed.
