According to reports, the collision happened at approximately 5:33 p.m. on June 28 when Keller and his 17-year-old sister attempted to cross Eastern Parkway at Albany Street. Police say a black Honda Pilot, driven by a 69-year-old man traveling southbound, struck the young boy as he was crossing the street.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and attempted to save Keller’s life at the scene before transporting him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
