Harrietstown, NY (July 19, 2026) – Three people were killed after a twin-engine Piper Aerostar crashed shortly after departing Adirondack Regional Airport late on July 13. The aircraft took off just after 10:30 p.m., lost communication soon afterward, and crashed in a wooded section of the Adirondack Rail Trail near Hearf’s Way and State Route 186, about two miles from the airport.
