Perry County, MS (October 22, 2024) — Authorities have released the identity of the victim in a deadly two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday in Perry County.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) confirmed on Tuesday morning that the victim was Selina D. Parker, a 47-year-old resident of Gautier.
The incident took place around 9:07 a.m. on State Route 29, where troopers responded to reports of a collision. According to MHP, Parker was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox northbound on MS-29 when her vehicle collided with a 2025 Kenworth Semi-Truck.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities confirmed.
The MHP has stated that the circumstances leading to the crash are still under investigation.
