Fallbrook, CA (November 5, 2025) – A 38-year-old San Diego woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Fallbrook late last week.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place just before 10:00 p.m. on October 30 on northbound Interstate 15, just north of the State Route 76 interchange. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Alyssha Karup-Joseph.
Authorities reported that Karup-Joseph was inside a vehicle that veered off the highway and rolled down an embankment. Emergency personnel arrived and transported her to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. Despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced deceased the following morning.
There were no immediate reports of other vehicles involved, and no further information about possible contributing factors has been released. The crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
