Bellingham, MA (June 10, 2025) – A tragic crash claimed the life of a 60-year-old bicyclist Monday afternoon in Bellingham, Massachusetts. The incident occurred near 120 South Main Street shortly before 12:45 p.m., prompting an emergency response from local police and fire crews.
According to reports, the bicyclist, a Woonsocket, Rhode Island resident, sustained life-threatening injuries at the scene and was quickly transported to Landmark Medical Center. Despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name pending family notification.
The motorist involved, described as a juvenile from Sutton, remained at the scene and was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center after being treated by first responders. Following a preliminary investigation, the teen was criminally cited for motor vehicle homicide, negligent driving, and a marked lanes violation.
