Atlanta, GA (July 10, 2026) – Five people were injured Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle collided with a MARTA bus following an attempted traffic stop in northwest Atlanta.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Atlanta police officers attempted to stop a suspect vehicle at approximately 4 p.m. on July 7 along James Jackson Parkway Northwest. Authorities said the driver attempted to flee before becoming involved in a crash near the intersection of Etheridge Drive Northwest and Hightower Road Northwest.
The collision involved a MARTA bus carrying 10 passengers.
