Cass, MO (July 17, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash in Cass County late Wednesday morning left one person injured after a collision at a rural intersection.
According to reports, the accident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. on July 16 at the intersection of Holmes Road and East 215th Street. A 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Nevada, Missouri, was traveling eastbound when it failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The Chrysler struck a southbound 2012 Toyota Camry on the passenger side.
The Camry, operated by a 36-year-old man from Overland Park, Kansas, sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene by J’s Southland. The Chrysler also sustained significant damage and was removed by a private party.
The driver of the Camry was wearing a safety device and suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Belton Regional Medical Center by Belton EMS for treatment.
