News sources show the chase began around 10 a.m. when Culver City officers pursued a vehicle linked to several felonies, including robbery and carjacking. The pursuit ended violently at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Centinela Avenue after the suspect reportedly ran a red light and collided with another car.
Emergency crews responded promptly, transporting at least six people to nearby hospitals. Among the injured were the male driver, a woman, and two children inside the fleeing vehicle, along with two other individuals from the collision. Authorities detained two individuals at the scene.
