Rodriguez of Brookings, South Dakota, was traveling northbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with another car.
Rodriguez, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as a 30-year-old woman from Puyallup, was uninjured in the crash.
