According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 5:44 p.m. on January 24 at the intersection of Mesquite Street and Escondido Avenue. An off-duty CHP officer initially reported the collision, which involved a dirt bike and a silver Toyota RAV4 SUV.
