Salina, NY. (September 22, 2025) — A late-night crash in the Town of Salina resulted in one person being hospitalized after their vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.
According to the New York State Police, the crash occurred on Saturday, September 20, at approximately 11:16 p.m. Officers were called to Cold Springs Road near Long Branch Road, where they found a heavily damaged vehicle against a tree.
The driver, identified as 56-year-old Mark Rubin of Baldwinsville, was traveling westbound in a 2013 Ford when the vehicle crossed over the center line into the eastbound lane before striking the tree head-on. Rubin sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
