Eden, WI (May 28, 2025) – A tragic multi-vehicle crash in the Town of Eden claimed the life of one man Tuesday afternoon following a collision involving an SUV, a dump truck, and a cement truck at a rural intersection in Fond du Lac County.
According to reports, emergency services were called to the intersection of County Highway B and County Highway K around 2:10 p.m. on May 27 after multiple 911 calls reported a serious crash. Authorities say a 79-year-old man from Fond du Lac was driving an SUV eastbound on County Highway B and attempted to turn left onto County Highway K when he was struck by a westbound dump truck.
The force of the impact pushed the dump truck into an eastbound cement truck before the dump truck veered off the road and came to a stop in a ditch. The SUV driver was found unresponsive at the scene, and despite immediate life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead. The dump truck driver, a 67-year-old man from Fond du Lac, was treated for minor injuries. The cement truck driver, a 61-year-old man, was uninjured and released from the scene.
