Bagley, IA (June 18, 2025) – A tragic crash during stormy weather claimed the life of a Coon Rapids man late Tuesday night on Highway 141 in Guthrie County.
According to reports, 60-year-old Jerry Hager was driving eastbound on Highway 141 when his vehicle crossed the center line approximately one mile west of Bagley around 10:00 p.m. on June 17. His vehicle side-swiped one car and then collided head-on with another.
Hager was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident and has not released additional information on other potential injuries.
