Columbus, OH (August 30, 2026) – A 19 year old man lost his life following a two vehicle collision in west Columbus late Friday night, according to authorities.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the crash occurred at approximately 11:09 p.m. on August 29 at the intersection of Roberts Road and Potts Place. Investigators reported that a Honda Civic traveling westbound on Roberts Road was attempting to turn left onto Potts Place when it entered the path of an eastbound Dodge Durango.
The driver of the Honda Civic, identified as Aaden Elswick, 19, sustained critical injuries in the collision. He was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities also confirmed that three people were transported from the scene following the crash. Their identities and conditions have not been released.
