Franklin County, OH (November 28, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash near Hollywood Casino in Franklin County claimed the life of one person and left three others hospitalized on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of West Broad Street and Georgesville Road. A Honda CR-V traveling east on West Broad Street reportedly ran a red light as an Acura MDX heading west attempted to turn south onto Georgesville Road. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Honda CR-V died at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle was critically injured and rushed to Grant Medical Center. The driver and passenger of the Acura MDX were taken to Doctors West Hospital in stable condition.
