Costa Mesa, CA (October 31, 2025) – A man was tragically killed in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning, October 30, in Costa Mesa. The accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. at the intersection of Red Hill Avenue and McCormick Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Rene Sanchez of Los Angeles was turning left from McCormick Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a car traveling northbound on Red Hill Avenue. The impact caused Sanchez to be ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
