According to the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, the deadly crash occurred just before 12:15 p.m. on August 29 at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Archer Avenue in the Town of Plainfield. Authorities say a vehicle heading eastbound on Archer Avenue failed to stop at a posted stop sign and entered the intersection directly into the path of a southbound semi-truck traveling on 5th Avenue.
