Reno County, KS (October 8, 2025) – A devastating head-on crash took place Monday morning in Reno County, leaving two people dead and several others, including an infant, injured.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred on October 7 when a silver Subaru SUV carrying four occupants—including 66-year-old Sharon Davis of Weston and 31-year-old Nicholas Brilhart of Sterling—crossed the center line along Kent Road and collided head-on with a Ford F150 pickup truck.
Both Davis and Brilhart tragically died at the scene. An infant and another person in the Subaru sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for further medical attention. The Ford’s driver was also hurt but was taken to the hospital via a private vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries.
The condition of the infant and the remaining Subaru passenger has not been confirmed at this time.
