Fresno, CA (August 24, 2025) – Authorities have confirmed the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in a deadly hit-and-run crash late Thursday night on Highway 168 in east central Fresno.
According to reports, the incident occurred just before midnight on August 22 near McKinley Avenue. Thawon Pho, 27, was riding his motorcycle westbound on the highway when a Hyundai Elantra struck the rear of his bike, ejecting him onto the roadway. The initial driver briefly stopped before fleeing the scene.
A second vehicle traveling behind then struck the rider as he lay in the road. That driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
