The crash occurred around 7:05 a.m. at the intersection of Cornelia Highway and White Sulphur Road and involved a 2026 Honda CBR650 motorcycle and a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
According to the Georgia State Patrol , the pickup truck was traveling north on Cornelia Highway when it entered a turn lane and attempted to make a left turn onto White Sulphur Road. During the maneuver, the truck collided with the southbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, identified as Steven Patrick Cullen, 27, of Toccoa, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and a passenger inside the vehicle were not injured. Authorities later confirmed that the driver of the truck has been charged in connection with the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
