Union City, PA (September 22, 2025) – A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a truck on Saturday morning in Union City, according to local authorities.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the collision occurred just before 8:30 a.m. on September 21 at the intersection of East High Street and Main Street. Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook reported that the 59-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle after hitting either a truck or the truck’s mirror.
The man sustained critical injuries and was transported to UPMC Hamot, where he underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in the early afternoon hours.
