Huntington Beach, CA (December 3, 2025) – A high-speed collision involving multiple vehicles left one man dead and three others injured, including two Orange County probation officers, on Tuesday afternoon in Huntington Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on December 2 at the intersection of Heil Avenue and Goldenwest Street. Preliminary reports from the Huntington Beach Police Department indicate that a gray Tesla Model 3 was traveling at a high rate of speed through the intersection when the driver lost control and collided with multiple vehicles.
Dashcam footage captured the moment the Tesla slammed into another vehicle before rolling several times. The Tesla came to rest approximately 150 yards from the intersection. The 37-year-old male driver of the Tesla was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that at least seven vehicles were affected by the crash. Three additional individuals were transported to the hospital in stable condition. Among the injured were two probation officers from the Orange County Probation Department. One of the officers required further treatment and was hospitalized.
